πŸ“Š How do we count your results? (Dashboard Logic)

#dashboard #explanation #metrics #contacted This article explains in simple terms how Robin counts your results and why a second message doesn't always count as a 'new' action.

πŸ’‘ What & Why

The dashboard shows how successful you are at finding and approaching new candidates. We want to give you an honest picture of how many new people you reach. That’s why we don't count every individual email, but look at the result of your work: did you establish a new contact?

βš™οΈ How it works

You can view your numbers in the dashboard in two ways. It is important to know which view you are using:

  1. Standard (Conversion): Robin only counts the very first time you contact a candidate. We call this the "First time's a charm" rule.

  2. All Actions: In this view, Robin counts everything. Every reminder, every call, and every message counts as an action here.

πŸ› οΈ Configuration (The "First time's a charm" rule)

In the standard view, we keep your numbers "clean" by only counting unique actions:

  • New people: A candidate only appears in the 'Contacted' box if you approached them for the very first time during the selected period.

  • Follow-up contact: Are you messaging someone you already spoke to last month? This counts as a continuation of the existing conversation, not as a new achievement for this month.

πŸš€ Output & User Experience

πŸ’‘ A simple example:

  • If you send your very first email to a candidate on January 10th, the counter for January will show 1.

  • If you send a reminder to that same person on January 20th, the counter stays at 1. You have still established contact with 1 unique person.

⚠️ The limits we have

If your view is set to 'Standard', your reminders (follow-ups) will not be reflected in the main numbers at the top. If you want to see them, switch the dashboard view to 'All Actions'.

❓ FAQ

  • Question: "I sent 10 emails today, but my counter is still at 0. Why is that?"

  • Answer: These were likely reminders to people you had approached before. In the standard view, Robin only counts the new faces you contacted today!
