🚀 How it works
Robin offers two ways to retrieve your signature from Outlook or Gmail:
Automatic Import: Robin searches your most recently sent emails for a signature and adds it with a single click.
Manual Selection: If automatic recognition doesn't work immediately, you will see an overview of your last five used signatures. You can then select the desired section yourself and click 'Retrieve signature'.
⚙️ Configuration
Follow these steps to set up your signature:
Log in to Robin and go to the settings menu.
Navigate to ‘Linked email addresses’.
Click the ‘Import signature’ button.
Choose the desired signature from the list if automatic recognition doesn't work immediately.
✨ Output & user experience
Once you have selected the correct version or completed the automatic import, you will immediately see that the signature has been successfully added. This saves time and ensures your emails always look professional without having to copy and paste text manually.
🛑 The limits we have
Recent email required: The import only works if you have recently sent an email that included your signature.
Mobile apps: Signatures are often not recognized automatically if you frequently email via mobile apps, as these apps do not always add the signature correctly.
❓ FAQ
What if Robin cannot find my signature? Send yourself a test email from your laptop or desktop (not from your mobile) with your signature included. Then try the import again in Robin.
Can I choose which part of the signature I import? Yes, with the manual method, you can select the specific section you want to use. This is useful if your signature consists of multiple blocks.
