Why are CVs on Werk.nl partially anonymized?
Werk.nl aims to better safeguard the privacy of candidates. Following a data breach on May 4, this is one of the steps taken to enhance the protection of personal data on Werk.nl.
When will CVs be anonymized by Werk.nl?
Starting Tuesday, May 14, CVs will be partially anonymized, and names, addresses, and email addresses will temporarily not be available to recruiters. However, if candidates choose to share their phone number, it will remain visible.
Why was this change announced so late?
The decision to anonymize CVs was prompted by a data breach on May 4. On Friday, May 10, Werk.nl decided to anonymize CVs to better protect personal data. We were informed about this on Monday, May 13.
Until when will contact details of Werk.nl candidates be visible via Robin?
New CVs from Werk.nl will be immediately anonymized. Contact details from past CVs will no longer be available in Robin after two weeks.
How can I still reach CVs from Werk.nl?
You can log in to Werk.nl via eHerkenning and contact candidates using the messaging service on Werk.nl. After May 27, this will again be easy through Robin. See the next question for more details.
What solution does Robin have for this issue?
Starting May 27, you can easily send messages to candidates on Werk.nl via Robin. This solution is similar to the existing functionality that allows you to send messages via email and LinkedIn through Robin. Recruiters will receive responses from candidates on their phones and in their inboxes.
