π‘ What & Why
Templates are ideal for messages you send regularly, such as interview invitations or requesting additional information. By using fixed formats, you save time and ensure your communication is always on-point.
β
βοΈ How it works
You can create and manage templates directly from the candidate's contact screen. Once a template is saved, it becomes available for your entire team (or just for you) for every subsequent candidate you approach.
β
π οΈ Configuration
Follow these steps to create your first template:
Open a candidate: Go to any candidate card and click the email or WhatsApp button.
Open Templates: Click the 'Templates' button within the text field.
New Template: Choose 'Blank template' to write a new text.
Save: Give your template a clear name and click 'Save template'. You can now select the template directly in the contact flow.
π The smart choice: AI Messaging
While templates are useful for standard messages, we always recommend AI Messaging for initial outreach. Why?
Higher conversion: Static templates are often recognized as 'spam'. AI messages result in up to 70% more responses.
Truly personal: The AI writes a unique message based on the candidate's specific CV and your job description.
Time-saving: You don't have to struggle with wording yourself; Robin Jr. does the heavy lifting for you.
β οΈ The limits
Static: A template does not automatically adapt to the candidate's profile. You must check manual fields (like the name) yourself.
Channel-specific: Keep in mind that a WhatsApp template is often shorter and more informal than an email template.
β FAQ
Can I share my templates with colleagues? Yes, when saving, you can usually choose whether a template is for you only or for the entire team.
Can I use variables? Robin supports automatic fields like {first_name}, so your template starts with a personal touch.
How do I edit an existing template? Select the template, adjust the text, and choose 'Save' to apply the changes.
