Robin partners with major job boards to give employers and recruitment agencies access to available talent. But we do more than just matching: we actively ask candidates about their preferences. This way, we understand what you are truly looking for in your next step and ensure you only receive offers that align with your wishes.

βš™οΈ Why am I receiving messages from Robin?

When your CV on a job site (where you have your profile set to public) matches a vacancy from one of our clients, Robin may contact you via WhatsApp or email. This is done on behalf of the recruiter managing the vacancy.

  • No account: You do not have a separate profile or login credentials with us. We only display the information you have made available yourself on a job board.

πŸ› οΈ How do I manage my data?

Because your data enters our system via an external job site, you manage your privacy at that specific source. As soon as you update or delete your CV at the source (the job board):

  1. Automatic update: Your profile immediately disappears from the search results in Robin.

  2. Cessation: Any automated messages from our system will stop.

  3. Privacy: Recruiters through Robin no longer have access to your data.

  • Central management: You manage your CV in one place: the job board where you uploaded it.

  • Transparency: We only process information that you actively and publicly make available yourself.

  • No database: We do not build our own database with your data; we are the bridge between you and the employer.

⚠️ Limitations & Deletion

  • Manual deletion: We cannot manually delete your data from our systems because we do not store it ourselves. The synchronization is leading: if you delete it at the source, it is gone from our system as well.

  • Logging in: There is no point in trying to log in to the Robin website; candidate accounts do not exist.

❓ FAQ

  • I'm being approached too often, what now? The best solution is to set your profile on the relevant job board to 'private' or 'anonymous'. Robin recognizes this immediately and will no longer include you in new searches.

  • Why doesn't logging in work? Because you don't have an account with us. All info comes directly from the job site.

  • How do I know which job site shared my data? The WhatsApp message from Robin usually mentions which platform we found you on.
