Want to avoid seeing candidates who are already in your own system? In Robin, you can easily disable your own database as a source, allowing you to focus entirely on fresh talent from external job boards.
β
π‘ What & Why
Sometimes you are specifically looking for 'new blood' and don't want to see candidates already in your ATS (such as MySolution, Carerix, or OTYS). By temporarily hiding your own database, your search results become shorter and more relevant, helping you discover new profiles faster.
β
βοΈ How it works
At the top of your search results, you can see the various sources (job boards) Robin retrieves candidates from. These sources work as 'toggles': you can simply turn them on or off.
π οΈ How to turn off the database (Step-by-Step)
Open your search: Go to the list of candidates Robin found for you.
View sources: Above the candidate list, you'll see logos of the different sources (e.g., Indeed, LinkedIn, and your own ATS).
Disable: Find the logo of your own database (e.g., the MySolution or Carerix logo).
Filter: Click the logo. When the logo turns gray, the source is disabled. You will now only see candidates from the selected external job boards.
π Output & User Experience
Focus on New Talent: Don't waste time on profiles a colleague might have already spoken to.
Speed: Your overview becomes more compact, allowing you to scan through 'new' candidates faster.
Flexibility: Want to see the database candidates again later? Simply click the logo again to reactivate the source.
β οΈ The limits
No Deletion: Candidates are not removed from Robin; they are simply made temporarily invisible in your current list.
β FAQ
Why don't I see my database logo? This usually means your ATS isn't linked as a source yet. Contact your admin to check the integration.
Are duplicate candidates also hidden? If a candidate is on both an external site and in your database, it depends on the de-duplication settings. Usually, Robin hides the profile as soon as the 'database source' is turned off.
