🔍 How to use the 'Last updated' filter?

#filters #candidates #sync #explanation #recruitment Learn how to filter candidates based on their recent activity and understand the logic behind the automatic processing of new profiles.

💡 What & Why

Do you want to know which candidates have been active recently? Use the 'Last updated' filter to get the freshest profiles in your results. This filters for the exact moment a candidate last posted or modified their profile on a job board.

🔧 Which options are available?

You can choose from several timeframes to refine your results:

  • No preference (shows all profiles)

  • Last 24 hours

  • Last 3 days

  • Last week

  • Last month

  • Last 3 months

🚀 How to set the filter

  1. Open an existing search or start a new one.

  2. Navigate to the 'Last updated' filter.

  3. Choose the period that is relevant to your search. The results will adjust automatically.

⚙️ Technical logic: The 'plus' sign (+)

You may notice a plus sign (+) next to new candidates in your list. Here is the logic behind it:

  • Visibility: The 'new candidate' plus (+) sign remains visible as long as the search result has not been clicked.

  • Interaction: Once you click or open the search result, the icon is immediately removed. This serves as a visual indicator of which profiles you have already screened.

  • Sync Interval: Our system synchronizes every hour. If a candidate appears right after a synchronization cycle, you will see the candidate in the list, but the plus sign will only appear after the next update (maximum one hour later). In this case, you are simply faster than our automatic processing.

❓ FAQ

  • What exactly does ‘Last updated’ mean? It refers to the date the candidate last updated or newly posted their profile on a job board.

  • Will I still see older profiles? Only if you select ‘No preference’. Other options will restrict the view to recently active candidates.

  • Why doesn't a new candidate have a plus sign? Most likely, the candidate appeared less than an hour ago. The plus sign will be added during the next hourly synchronization cycle.
