Welcome to the club! Have you heard from your admin that an account is ready for you? Then it's time to activate it. You'll be ready to find your first candidates in just a few clicks.
🚀 How it works
As soon as an Admin adds you to Robin, our system automatically sends a unique activation email to your work address. This is the only way to securely set up your account.
Open your inbox and look for the email with the subject ‘Your Robin login details’.
Copy the temporary password from this email.
Click the activation link in the message.
Log in with your email address and the temporary password.
Set your own strong password immediately.
Log in again with your new credentials. You’re in! 🎉
⚙️ Configuration
No technical preparation is needed, but keep the following in mind:
Browser: We recommend using Google Chrome for the best experience.
Temporary Password: This password is unique and can only be used once to unlock your account.
✨ Output & user experience
After activation, you’ll land directly in the Robin environment. From that moment on, your account is officially 'Active'. You now have access to search functions and your personal dashboard. You don’t need to keep the activation email; from now on, you’ll log in via the standard login page.
🛑 The limits we have
Expiration: The activation link and temporary password are valid for a limited time (usually 48 hours). If you wait too long, the access will expire.
One-time use: Once you have set your own password, the temporary password expires immediately.
Security: The link only works for the specific email address that received the email.
❓ FAQ
I didn't receive an activation email, what now? First, check your spam folder. Still nothing? Ask your Admin to resend the activation email or contact our support via the chat.
My temporary password isn't working? Make sure you didn't copy any extra spaces when pasting. If it still doesn't work, the password has likely expired, and a new email needs to be sent.
Can I activate my account later? You can, but we recommend doing it right away. This prevents the link from expiring and saves you from having to request access again from your manager.
