Recruiters often lose time on outdated profiles or candidates who aren't actually looking for a job anymore. The goal of the 'checked status' is to help you make the right choices faster. A checked candidate receives a clear marker in Robin (a green checkmark or label), allowing you to see the quality of your search results at a glance.

Robin verifies the candidate's status in two ways:
Proactive inquiry: Robin reaches out to candidates via WhatsApp or email to ask about their current availability and preferences.
Interaction via Robin Jr.: With every approach made through Robin Jr., we check in the background if the data is still correct and if the candidate is still active in the market.

More Efficient Outreach: You don't waste time on candidates who are unreachable or have incorrect contact details.
Better Conversion: The chance of a positive response is much higher with candidates who have recently been checked by Robin.
⚠️ The limits
Platforms: Currently, the checked status does not yet apply to candidates sourced directly from LinkedIn or Indeed.
Validity: The checked status is temporary. A candidate keeps this status for 7 days. After this, the status expires automatically to ensure you are always working with the freshest information.
Renewal: Did you have contact with the candidate via Robin within those 7 days? Then the status is automatically renewed.
